Landon played and played and becomes more and more vocal. His energy is amazing - it is actually kind of funny! And for some reason he loves to walk around with things in his mouth, while holding other objects. Thank God we are friends with a dentist!

Aunt Becky and Uncle Andy visit!
Okay, so they really aren't Landon's aunt and uncle, but are our best friends, so Landon will grow up knowing them as Aunt Becky and Uncle Andy. We haven't seen them since Memorial Day of 2008 and they only live in DC! Our lives have been busy, but we have promised to plan our next visit now, so we don't go another 8 months without seeing each other.

Trip to Harrisburg
This weekend we made a trip to Harrisburg, since Grammie is living out there now (because of work). Pappy came out and so did MeMa! It was a fun family visit and all of the PA grandparents were able to spend time with Landon. We hung out at the house and took a little driving tour of Harrisburg (which is actually really nice!). We are looking forward to future trips when Harrisburg is holding some festivals, etc.

Define "walking"
I think it is a little premature to say that Landon is walking, however, he took multiple steps 3 different times this evening!!! He has been taking 2-3 steps here and there and then he gets nervous and drops down. Tonight was no-fear night....
First, we were playing in the living room and I push back the ottoman's on the other side of the rug so he has room to play and then I'll sit with my back against the couch and play with him. He was standing with me by the couch and then he walked over to the ottoman! Definitely more than 5 steps, but maybe less than 10.
Second, he took a bath tonight, and I dried him off, brushed his hair and he's walking around the bathroom holding onto everything. Then all of the sudden he walks from me (I'm probably sitting by the toilet) and walks over to my vanity. Again, more than 5 steps, but maybe less than 10.
Last (and this was the best time), we went out in my bedroom and he was playing on his Leap Frog Learning table having a good time. All of the sudden he walks away from the table towards the chair in the corner of our room. This time he definitely took about 10 steps. I couldn't believe it!
He's wobbly, but really testing out his balance, and doing so well! So proud! Better go move that wine rack out of the living room...

Good Day/Bad Day
I love to read the report that our sitter sends home with Landon each day. You know, the one that tells us when his diaper was changed and what was inside, when he had a bottle, what he ate, etc. Today's report was cute and touching, yet somewhat disturbing.
The Cute and Touching Part..."Landon painted with the color red for our art project." His first art project! And he's 10-months old, for goodness sake, and is already painting with the big kids! I can't wait to get the details tomorrow when I drop Landon off!
The Disturbing Part..."Has not napped all day" ...yet he was happy and playful all day until his head it the mattress at 6pm this evening and he was sound asleep. I wonder if 10-months is too early to test for ADHD...
