Happy 15-month Birthday, Landon!

Happy Birthday, Buddy! Landon continues to amaze us and make us laugh. He has a great personality and is such a boy!! He continues to be very physical - climbing, falling and then laughing at himself, pushing everything over and he has started to jump (which can be scary at times). He is also talking much more - mama, daddy, dad, hi, bye-bye, me, ball, thank you, all done, and shoes. We saw the pediatrician today and from what she said over the next 3 months his vocabulary will explode! So fun! He continues to grow lots - 25 lbs and 4 oz (50-75%) and 32 inches tall (75%). Because he is so active his weight is starting to plateau (which is nice for Mama and Dada!) and now we'll he him gain inches in height. His motor skills continue to be very good...so all in all, we have a happy and healthy little boy! Happy Birthday Landon! We love you lots!

First 'real' haircut!

Today at lunchtime, we took Landon to get his first real haircut. We took him to a place called Pigtails and Crewcuts. We were a little nervous because he was tired and needed a nap and we weren't sure that he would sit and let them cut his hair. Well, he proved us wrong! He was great! He sat in the 'police car' and was playing with the steering wheel, and Jason brought over some of the cars from the train table. He was such a good boy! He wasn't scared of the sound of the hair clippers either. We were so proud of him and the cut is really cute and he looks so good!

Happy Father's Day!

We surprised Daddy and got him a Heinz Ward Steelers jersey for Father's Day! He was really excited and happy and VERY surprised! Uncle Tom, Aunt Addy and cousins Thomas and Tyler were visiting for the weekend, so we all went to the park. Landon had a good time - he spun around with Aunt Addy, went down the slides and was swinging on the swings too. Everyone had a fun day!

Castle Climber and Slide

We bought Landon one of the Little Tikes Climber and Slides and it is a castle. He LOVES it! He slides down the slide at daycare, so I wanted to get him something for inside the house especially when it is too hot to go outside, but something that he can climb all over - he is such a physical little boy. He'll crawl up the 'rock wall' on the other side that you can't see and then will slide down, sometimes head first, as you can see. He's very entertaining on it!
