Happy 3-month birthday, Landon!

Since last month, Landon has grown and developed so much! It is so enjoyable to watch him discover new things...and himself! He has found his hands and will suck them (we my have a thumb sucker, who knows?), knows who Mama and Daddy are, will smile at others, is VERY vocal (and we love to talk with him), enjoys his activity mat more and more and all of those other mobile things that dangle above him, holds his head up, and is losing his brown baby hair and now his light blonde hair is growing in. Pretty soon he'll be rolling over, but hasn't quite figured out how to do it yet...maybe those big thighs are getting in the way?!?!!? We love you, Landon!

Watch out Michael Phelps!

While at the beach, Landon went into the pool for the first time. We assumed he would do great, since he loves taking a shower with Daddy so much...and of course he did! He was kicking his feet and having a good time!

Landon goes to the beach!

A bunch of Jason's old St. Francis college friends rented a beach house in the Outer Banks, and Jason and Landon went along for the week. Mama joined up with them at the end of the week. Landon did really well eating and sleeping at a different place and everyone was impressed with Jason's fathering skills!

Sitting Up!

Landon is getting stronger and stronger every day. I figured I would see how he would do in his BeBe Pod since he can hold his head up - he did great!

The Infamous Pouty Face!

We finally captured it!

Happy Father's Day!

Daddy had a wonderful first Father's Day! Saturday night we went out to dinner at Flemings and had a nice steak dinner. On Sunday, Daddy opened his gift from Mama and Landon - the James Bond Collectors DVD set! Daddy was very excited and more so surprised since Mommy never surprises him. Daddy and Landon can watch the DVDs this summer together! Then we went to Deep Run Park for a stroll around the little lake and took some photos. It was a great day for all of us!

What is this?

It is so awesome to see Landon grow and develop. This week he has started to intensely stare at his hand. Not sure what he is thinking... "Is this mine?" "Is it attached?" "Let's see if it tastes good!" He is also starting to have a good time on the activity mat and watch the birds, caterpillar and sunshine above him. It is really cute!

Happy Birthday Madison!

Amy's step-sister, Beverly, was due early July, but daughter, Madison, decided to make an early arrival. Luckily, Bevy had a fast labor. Whew! She is a teacher, so I think Maddy wanted to spend as much time with Mama this summer as she could. She weighed in a 5 pounds 4 ounces and has lots of hair. We are very excited to meet her at Thanksgiving! Our children are exactly 2 months and 2 weeks apart...partners in crime! Welcome Madison! We love you!

We don't call him Michelin Man for nothing!

Landon had his 2 month-check up today. We've been very curious to see how much he weighs because he's starting to get heavy. Sure enough, he weighed in at 14 pounds 6 ounces (90th percentile) and is 23.5 inches long (75th percentile). It was funny, when I put him on the scale the nurse commented, "Boy, you don't miss a feeding, do you?"

Karman and Cora visit!

Our friend Karman and daughter, Cora, came to visit us today - we had a great time. Having Cora over allowed us to learn how we need to baby proof our living room! She kept going for the red wine... She's adorable and was a lot of fun to watch play. It was so good to see both of you!
